WINTER STORM TO BRING STRONG WINDS AND SNOW TO PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN PLAINS ON SATURDAY....A DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM WILL MAKE ITS WAY EAST ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PLAINS SATURDAY...BRINGING SNOW AND STRONG WINDS TO OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.

STRONG NORTH WINDS OF 20 TO 35MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 40 MPH... WILL COMBINE WITH SNOW TO CREATE RESTRICTED VISIBILITIES AND HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. THESE CONDITIONS WILL INITIALLY DEVELOP OVER NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA AROUND SUNRISE SATURDAY AND THEN SPREAD EAST AND SOUTHEAST THROUGHOUT THE DAY. THE STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE EAST OF THE AREA WITH SNOW ENDING AND WIND SPEEDS DIMINISHING QUICKLY SATURDAY EVENING.
