SPREADING SNOW ACROSS IOWA. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO END EARLY THIS EVENING
AS THE STORM PULLS TO THE EAST. MODERATE ACCUMULATIONS ARE
EXPECTED FOR CENTRAL IOWA.

SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL ACROSS MUCH OF WEST CENTRAL IOWA THIS
AFTERNOON. LOCATIONS SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 30 CAN EXPECT ANOTHER 1 OR 2
INCHES OF SNOWFALL FOR A TOTAL SNOWFALL OF OF 3 TO 4 INCHES.
ISOLATED 5 INCH AMOUNTS MAY BE POSSIBLE TOWARD THE MISSOURI LINE.
FARTHER NORTH...1 OR 2 INCHES OF TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION IS NOW
EXPECTED ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 20 TO THE MINNESOTA LINE.
A SNOW ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY

the metro. Schools are dismissing early and there are accidents in and
around Des
Moines.
