.LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK FROM THE NORTHERN PLAINS INTO WESTERN
IOWA THIS EVENING...AND THEN INTO CENTRAL ILLINOIS OVERNIGHT. THIS
WILL SPREAD SNOW ACROSS THE AREA BY THIS AFTERNOON AND THEN LAST
INTO THE PRE-DAWN HOURS WEDNESDAY BEFORE TAPERING OFF
IT APPEARS THE HEAVIEST ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL OCCUR FROM LATE
THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING HOURS WITH THE HEAVIEST
SNOW AXIS EXTENDING FROM NEAR LAKE CITY MINNESOTA THROUGH LA
CROSSE...TO NEAR BOSCOBEL AND PLATTEVILLE. IN THIS AXIS...ANYWHERE
FROM 4 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE. LIGHTER AMOUNTS IN THE 3
TO 4 INCH RANGE ARE EXPECTED EITHER SIDE OF THIS AXIS.
