NWS Norman will be expanding the heavy snow warning to the southeast, to include most - if not all - of the current winter wx advisory area. Latest models now showing two bands of snow - one beginning in NW OK this afternoon and ending late tonight, with another setting up from SW OK up I-44 into the OKC metro. Either of these bands could see from 4 to 6 inches of snow, while about a two county wide area in between might see lesser amounts. The problem, of course, is defining where that zone will be. The thought is to expand the warning, and provide more details in the text and in our graphics and web briefings --
