NORTHEAST IOWA AND FAR SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. SOME DRIER BEING DRAWN IN FROM THE NORTH...COMBINED
WITH A FURTHER SOUTH TRACK OF THE LOW THAN EARLIER THOUGHT...HAS
CONTINUED TO SHIFT THE THREAT OF HEAVY SNOW SOUTH THROUGH THE DAY.
DUE TO THE SOUTHWARD SHIFT OF THE LOW...SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATING SNOW
IS NO LONGER EXPECTED FOR LOCATIONS ALONG AND NORTH OF A CHARLES
CITY TO WAUKON IOWA AND STEUBEN WISCONSIN LINE. THUS THE WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY THAT WAS IN EFFECT FOR THESE AREAS HAS BEEN
CANCELLED.
SNOW AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES REMAIN POSSIBLE ALONG AND SOUTH OF A
FAYETTE AND ELKADER IOWA TO PLATTEVILLE WISCONSIN LINE. WITH
LESSER AMOUNTS OF SNOW EXPECTED..THE WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THESE
AREAS HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A SNOW ADVISORY.
THE HEAVIEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WITH THIS STORM SYSTEM WILL OCCUR FROM

EVENING. THE SNOW WILL BE MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY AT TIMES SOUTH
OF FAYETTE AND ELKADER IOWA TO PLATTEVILLE WISCONSIN. SNOW AMOUNTS
WILL RANGE FROM AND INCH OR LESS FROM WAUCOMA AND MCGREGOR IOWA TO
BOSCOBEL WISCONSIN...UP TO 5 INCHES FROM OELWEIN AND STRAWBERRY
POINT IOWA TO CUBA CITY WISCONSIN. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF LATE IN
