...ICE AND SNOW POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND...

A STORM SYSTEM MAY CAUSE ICE ACCUMULATION ACROSS THE WESTERN TWO
THIRDS OF OKLAHOMA AND PARTS OF NORTH TEXAS THIS WEEKEND.

LIGHT RAIN AND DRIZZLE MAY DEVELOP TONIGHT OVER MUCH OF SOUTHERN AND
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA... AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS... MAINLY ALONG AND
SOUTHEAST OF I-44. AS TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW FREEZING OVERNIGHT...
THE PRECIPITATION WILL FREEZE ON EXPOSED SURFACES. ALTHOUGH
SCATTERED SLIPPERY SPOTS ARE POSSIBLE ON BRIDGES AND OTHER ELEVATED
ROADWAYS... NO MAJOR TRAVEL PROBLEMS ARE ANTICIPATED TONIGHT.

TEMPERATURES SHOULD RISE ABOVE FREEZING ON FRIDAY... BUT DIP BELOW
FREEZING AGAIN FRIDAY NIGHT... AGAIN PROVIDING A CHANCE OF FREEZING
RAIN AND SLEET... ESPECIALLY OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF OKLAHOMA. AT
THIS TIME... IT APPEARS THAT SOME ICE ACCUMULATION WILL BE LIKELY...
MAINLY OVER SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA. LESSER AMOUNTS WILL BE LIKELY FROM
WEST-CENTRAL OKLAHOMA... TO CENTRAL AND SOUTH-CENTRAL OKLAHOMA...
AND INTO NORTH TEXAS. SOME TRAVEL PROBLEMS ARE POSSIBLE...
ESPECIALLY IN THE SOUTHWEST PARTS OF OKLAHOMA. MOST OF THE
REMAINDER OF OKLAHOMA WILL BE WARMER... AND WILL EXPERIENCE RAIN.

AS TEMPERATURES RISE AGAIN ON SATURDAY... THE PRECIPITATION WILL
TURN TO RAIN. ANOTHER SURGE OF COLD AIR WILL AGAIN BRING
TEMPERATURES DOWN FOR SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY... RESULTING IN A
MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW... BUT NO SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE
CURRENTLY EXPECTED.
