.LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP IN THE SOUTHERN PLAINS ON SUNDAY. THIS
LOW WILL STRENGTHEN AS IT MOVES NORTHEAST INTO LOWER MICHIGAN BY
SUNDAY EVENING. GULF MOISTURE DRAWN INTO THIS LOW WILL HELP
PRODUCE SNOW ACROSS SOUTHERN WISCONSIN SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.

WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING
THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.
SNOW AMOUNTS GENERALLY IN THE 6 TO 13 INCH RANGE ARE POSSIBLE
SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY EVENING...WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS OVER
SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN. SLIGHTLY LOWER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE TO THE
NORTHWEST. IN ADDITION...STRONG WINDS WITH THE LOW MAY CAUSE
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. THOSE WITH TRAVEL PLANS SUNDAY AND
SUNDAY EVENING SHOULD KEEP UP WITH THE LATEST FORECASTS.
A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN HEAVY SNOW...AND/OR
SLEET...AND/OR FREEZING RAIN MAY COMBINE WITH STRONG WINDS TO
CAUSE MAJOR IMPACTS TO COMMERCE AND SOCIETY. CONTINUE TO MONITOR

TRACK NORTHEAST ACROSS THE CENTRAL PART OF THE COUNTY THIS
WEEKEND. CURRENT INDICATIONS ARE THAT THE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE
WILL TRACK FROM MISSOURI INTO LOWER MICHIGAN. WITH THIS
TRACK...SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION SATURDAY NIGHT AND
CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD RANGE FROM
3 TO 6 INCHES FOR AREAS ROUGHLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM OELWEIN IOWA
TO BIG FLATS WISCONSIN. IN ADDITION TO THE ACCUMULATING
SNOWS...WINDS WILL BECOME NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 20 MPH SUNDAY
AFTERNOON. THIS WILL PRODUCE SOME DRIFTING SNOW AND POSSIBLY SOME
LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW. THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY ON THE
EXACT TRACK OF THIS SYSTEM AND WHERE THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL.
