SOUTHERN WISCONSIN LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...
.STRONG LOW PRESSURE WILL BRING ANOTHER WINTER STORM TO SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. THE LOW WILL
DEVELOP IN THE SOUTHERN PLAINS SATURDAY AFTERNOON...THEN INTENSIFY
AND MOVE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE CHICAGO AREA AROUND MIDDAY SUNDAY.
THE FORECAST TRACK OF THE LOW MAY CHANGE LEADING UP TO SUNDAY...BUT
BEST INDICATIONS FOR THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL BE WEST OF THE MILWAUKEE
METROPOLITAN AREA...AND MORE SO FROM MONROE...TO MADISON...TO FOND
DU LAC...AND LOCATIONS TO THE WEST.
THE PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AS A MIXED BAG LATE SATURDAY NIGHT
BUT QUICKLY CHANGE TO HEAVY SNOW IN SOUTH CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN. FREEZING RAIN...SLEET...SNOW...AND POSSIBLY EVEN RAIN
IS EXPECTED IN SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN...AND WILL GRADUALLY CHANGE TO
SNOW FROM WEST TO EAST ON SUNDAY. BY MID AFTERNOON ON SUNDAY ALL
OF THE REGION WILL BE EXPERIENCING SNOW. THE SNOW WILL END SUNDAY
EVENING WITH BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS USHERING IN COLD AIR.

LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY
MORNING...ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN. SNOW AMOUNTS WILL
RANGE TO AROUND 6 INCHES IN THE MILWAUKEE METROPOLITAN AREA TO 8
TO 12 INCHES IN EAST CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN. SINCE
SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN...INCLUDING THE MILWAUKEE METROPOLITAN AREA IS
NEAR THE RAIN SNOW LINE...UPCOMING FORECASTS OF ICE AND SNOW
AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY CHANGE THERE. THOSE WITH TRAVEL PLANS LATE SATURDAY
NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING SHOULD KEEP UP WITH THE LATEST FORECASTS.
