THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
WESTERN AND SOUTHERN KANSAS
NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA
THE TEXAS PANHANDLE
EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND MONDAY MORNING FROM 550 PM
UNTIL 100 AM CDT.
TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 85 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 35 MILES SOUTH OF AMARILLO
TEXAS TO 55 MILES NORTH OF DODGE CITY KANSAS. FOR A COMPLETE
