THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
A LARGE PART OF NORTHEAST ARKANSAS
PARTS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
PARTS OF WESTERN KENTUCKY
PARTS OF SOUTHEASTERN MISSOURI
EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON FROM 950 AM UNTIL
500 PM CDT.
TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 80 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 65 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 25 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF
LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS TO 10 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF CARBONDALE
