ROCKIES TODAY BEFORE MOVING NORTHEAST THROUGH KANSAS AND EASTERN
NEBRASKA ON THURSDAY...THEN FINALLY MOVING EAST ACROSS IOWA ON
FRIDAY. RAIN WILL SPREAD ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND
SOUTHWESTERN MINNESOTA AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT
AND THURSDAY...CHANGING OVER TO SNOW FROM WEST TO EAST THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF
FRIDAY...BUT THE MAJORITY OF ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WILL BE
THURSDAY NIGHT. AREAS OF DRIFTING SNOW ARE ALSO LIKELY AS WINDS

FRIDAY EVENING.
PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AS RAIN LATE TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY
MORNING BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO SNOW FROM WEST TO EAST THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND CONTINUING AS SNOW THROUGH THE DAY
FRIDAY. BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE AS NORTH
OR NORTHEAST WINDS INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
SNOWFALL TOTALS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH FRIDAY
