Yesterday, 09 April 2008, Colorado State University released an
updated forecast for the 2008 Atlantic Basin Hurricane Season. The
latest numbers are:
Named Storms: 15 (up from 13 in December's forecast)
Named Storm Days: 80 (up from 60 in December's forecast)
Hurricanes: 8 (up from 7 in December's forecast)
Hurricane Days: 40 (up from 30 in December's forecast)
Intense Hurricanes: 4 (up from 3 in December's forecast)
Intense Hurricane Days: 9 (up from 6 in December's forecast)
