I just sent a note to the AM shift forecasters after reading an eye-opening discussion from the Kansas City forecast office. Temperatures have dropped 50 degrees in a matter of hours across South Dakota with the upcoming arctic front. GFS MOS model (coldest one) thinks the temperature is 7 degrees warmer than what it actually is in Kansas and Nebraska this early morning. I am thinking we consider dropping hourly temps today by about 7 degrees.
