THE UNSEASONABLY MILD TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE OVER MUCH OF
OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS ON SUNDAY... BUT BIG CHANGES IN OUR
WEATHER LOOM JUST AHEAD. GUSTY SOUTH WINDS TONIGHT AND SUNDAY WILL
KEEP TEMPERATURES SEVERAL DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL WHILE ALSO GRADUALLY
INCREASING THE LOW LEVEL MOISTURE OVER THE AREA. A STRONG COLD FRONT
IS FORECAST TO ENTER NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA BY LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
AND MOVE THROUGH CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA... AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS SUNDAY NIGHT. AS THE COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION...
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP... WITH A FEW SEVERE STORMS
POSSIBLE.
MONDAY WILL BRING A COLD RAIN... MIXED WITH SNOW IN CENTRAL AND
NORTHERN OKLAHOMA. THE WINTRY MIX SHOULD SPREAD INTO PARTS OF
SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS BY MONDAY NIGHT. AN INCH
OR TWO OF WET SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE... MAINLY ACROSS
PARTS OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA... BY MONDAY NIGHT. ALSO VERY
NOTICEABLE WILL BE THE STRONG NORTH WINDS BEHIND THE COLD FRONT...
WHICH WILL GUST OVER 45 MPH ON SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY... DROPPING
THE WIND CHILLS INTO THE 20S BY MONDAY MORNING.
