A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS
EVENING TO 6 AM CST MONDAY.
RAIN FALLING OVER NORTHWEST MISSOURI AND EXTREME NORTHEAST KANSAS
LATER THIS AFTERNOON WILL MIX WITH SNOW AFTER SUNSET BEFORE
CHANGING OVER COMPLETELY TO A WET SNOW BY LATE EVENING. AROUND
2 INCHES OF SNOW ARE LIKELY OVER NORTHWEST MISSOURI AND EXTREME
NORTHEAST KANSAS BEFORE TAPERING TO FLURRIES DURING THE PRE-DAWN
HOURS OF MONDAY MORNING.
AS TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY BE ABOVE FREEZING AT FIRST...THE SNOW
WILL INITIALLY MELT AS IT FALLS. WITHIN AN HOUR OR TWO SURFACE
TEMPERATURES SHOULD COOL SUFFICIENTLY THAT THE SNOW WILL BEGIN TO
QUICKLY ACCUMULATE ON GRASSY SURFACES WHILE ROAD SURFACES WILL
MORE LIKELY BECOME SLUSHY. IN ADDITION...STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS
BETWEEN 20 AND 30 MPH WILL CREATE REDUCED VISIBILITIES.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
...MORE WINTER WEATHER TONIGHT...
.ALTHOUGH IT WILL BE QUITE MILD TODAY WITH HIGHS IN THE 40S OR
50S...THE WEATHER WILL TAKE A TURN BACK TOWARD WINTER TONIGHT. A
LOW PRESSURE AREA AND COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE STATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING...AND TEMPERATURES WILL DROP SHARPLY. RAIN
IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE TO SNOW THIS EVENING...AND SOME SLEET IS
POSSIBLE AS WELL.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO 6 AM CST MONDAY.
CHANCES FOR RAIN WILL INCREASE LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS
EVENING. THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE TO SNOW AROUND MID EVENING...AND
IT MAY EVEN MIX WITH SLEET AT TIMES BEFORE MIDNIGHT. TWO TO FOUR
INCHES OF SNOW MAY ACCUMULATE BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION DIMINISHES
BEFORE DAYBREAK MONDAY. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE IF A
NARROW BAND OF HEAVIER SNOW DEVELOPS. MUCH OF THE ACCUMULATION IS
EXPECTED TO OCCUR IN ONLY A FEW HOURS...SO DRIVING CONDITIONS
COULD DETERIORATE RAPIDLY. NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO
30 MPH AS THE SNOW FALLS...REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO A HALF MILE OR
LESS...AND CAUSING DRIFTING OF THE SNOW.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW OR SLEET
WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND
LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO 3 AM CST MONDAY.
RAIN IS FORECAST TO QUICKLY CHANGE TO SNOW EARLY THIS EVENING
ACROSS FAR SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA AND SOUTHWEST IOWA BEHIND A STRONG
COLD FRONT. A NARROW BAND OF SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP NEAR THE
KANSAS AND NEBRASKA BORDER AS WELL AS NEAR THE IOWA AND MISSOURI
BORDER. THIS BAND COULD PRODUCE FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES BEFORE TAPERING
TO FLURRIES AFTER MIDNIGHT. NORTHWEST WINDS WILL ALSO BE GUSTY
AROUND 20 TO 30 MPH. AS TEMPERATURES DROP INTO THE 20S OVERNIGHT...ANY
MELTING OF SNOW COULD FREEZE ON ROADWAYS CREATING SLICK CONDITIONS.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
