THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
FAR NORTHEAST KENTUCKY
SOUTHERN OHIO
FAR SOUTHWEST WEST VIRGINIA
EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 335 PM UNTIL
900 PM EDT.
TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 50 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 50 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF
ATHENS OHIO TO 40 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HUNTINGTON WEST VIRGINIA.
