East across north central missouri through mid afternoon. The
Heaviest snow is expected to fall in areas from laredo, to
Milan, unionville, and further east into kirksville and
Lancaster, where 1 to 3 inches of snow will be possible. In
Addition, strong northwest winds greater than 25 mph will cause
Blowing snow with visibilities reduced below one mile at times. While
Roadways may only appear to be wet, falling temperatures in the
Middle 20s will cause roads to become slick and hazardous through the
Evening. Numerous accidents have already been reported across
Northwest missouri with this significant snow band.
Snow is expected to end across the advisory area by 3 pm, however
The potential for hazardous road conditions will continue for several
Hours.
